Welcome to aWANA at Colonial!!

What is Awana?

AWANA stands for Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed, taken from 2 Timothy 2:15: "Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth."

The AWANA program is a structured children's discipleship program that includes Bible teaching, scripture memorization, game time and many other fun activities throughout the school year!

The emphasis of AWANA is the memorization of God's Word as a primary means of a child growing in his/her relationship with God.  This is accomplished in the context of discipleship with adult leaders who are passionate about Jesus Christ.

Children ages from 3 years old through the 6th grade are invited to participate. Club activites start at 6:45 PM and ends at 8:30 PM on Wednesday nights from September through May.

Awana@CBVB Ministry Commanders

Jason & Charity have been working in Awana at Colonial since 2003.  They have been the ministry leaders since 2010.  They have had children in each club over their time in ministry and have a heart to see children introduced to Jesus and grow to be more like him.
