Final Demands Regarding Human Wisdom (Part 2)

March 5, 2017 Speaker: Brent Belford Series: 1 Corinthians: Pursue Love

Passage: 1 Corinthians 3:21–4:7

Series sermon #13: After reminding the Corinthians that all leaders of the church are God’s servants and that they are accountable for how they minister in the church (1 Cor 3:1–17), Paul lays out his final demands regarding human wisdom (1 Cor 3:18–4:7). He says that the Corinthians must not boast in men (3:21-23), they must not pronounce premature judgments on Christian ministers (4:1-5), and that they remember that God is the source of all human giftedness (4:6-7).
