Series Sermon #7: In 2:1-12 Mark continues his discussion of Jesus' authority by describing the events of another healing. This healing is different, however, in that Jesus heals and forgives the sins of a paralytic man. Since only God can forgive sins, Jesus' actions demonstrate his unrivaled authority as God. Jesus' ability to forgive our sins should cause believers to rejoice in the absolute power of Christ!
